Quest 16 of 28 in the Journal · From Patrol ledger in Starbow Lodge · Starbow Lodge, Silverleaf Trails, The Broken Watch, Lastleaf Refuge, The Patient Eye, The Threefold Signal

How to start

Read the patrol ledger in Starbow Lodge.

What you need

Step by step

  1. A watch without a watcher. Investigate the missing Starbow patrol. Combat 90 recommended; dangerous hunting clearings are signed and avoidable. No Archery level or earlier quest is required.
  2. Boots, not roots. Read the tracks where the hunting trails divide.
  3. Still at their posts. Find out why the watch stopped answering.
  4. Everybody accounted for. Meet the patrol’s survivor and learn the old warning code.
  5. The patient eye. Read the ranger who designed the signal network.
  6. Point the warning outwards. Set the danger shutter using the lookout’s diagram.
  7. A place to come home. Complete the signal test and record the patrol’s return.
  8. The report comes home. Collect the patrol’s reward.

What you get

How it ends

The Starbow patrol is safe and the warning code is restored. You earned 9,000 coins, 6,500 Archery XP, 9,000 Exploration XP, character experience and a Starbow signal lantern for your home. Place it through Build > Decorations; dismantling returns it. Your Archery mastery cape still requires only Archery 99.
