How to start

Ask Yusuf, by the camels at Kingsrest’s way in, what is wrong.

Click Yusuf to talk (or right-click and choose Talk-to; on a phone, long-press), then choose “What is wrong with your camel?”. “New quest”, the game says: your Journal and your Field notes keep track of it from then on.

What you need

• The way to Kingsrest, far to the west at the edge of the deep desert, and on to The Mossy Oak, the great tree south-west of it where the sand turns green, on the way to Oystersands.
• A free slot in your bag for the bell. Trolls and goblin brutes roam the country round Kingsrest: go with a little food.

Step by step

1. A camel without her bell. Yusuf, the camel man of Kingsrest, the oasis village far to the west at the edge of the deep desert, stands with his camels by the village’s way in. One of them looks very pleased with herself. Ask him what is wrong.
2. Among the roots. Yusuf’s camel Honey came home from grazing by the Mossy Oak without her bell. The oak is a great tree south-west of Kingsrest, out of the sand and into the green, on the way to Oystersands. Search the hollow between its roots.
3. Honey’s bell. In the hollow between the oak’s roots, among the acorns, lay a small bronze camel bell on a plaited band. Take it back to Yusuf, at Kingsrest’s way in.
