At the town end of the bridge over the southern lake, south of Pixlaria Town’s square.

Your first stake up anywhere out past the heartland finishes her quest. Plot access, in your stake’s menu, moves the stake within your plot, or gives the plot up when you move on.

- What does a surveyor do?
I walk the land with my pole and my book, and mark where claims may go. Everything round town is the heartland: common ground, and nobody claims it. Out past its edge the land is anyone's to settle, a square of it round a claim stake, and nobody but you and the builders you choose may build there.
