Your hometown

Ten towns welcome new saved characters as the community grows.

Pioneeria has separate places for the first 1,000 saved normal characters and the first 1,000 saved Oathbound characters. When one group fills, that group starts in the next available town while the other can still begin in Pioneeria. Guests do not use places until saved.

After Pioneeria, each town takes 2,000 saved characters of either kind combined: Aldermere, Applewick, Wayfarer’s Rest, Cloverhollow, Brackenford, Willowmere, Amberfield, Hearthglen and Dawnmeadow, progressively farther out. Existing characters keep their origin and positions. Player cards show where a character is from.

Local Smith, Pet Keeper and Cook errands teach the same skills and share completion records. You cannot repeat those rewards by visiting another town. Distinct travel stories remain open to visitors. The welcome districts have protected services, beginner trees, copper and tin, fishing, cooking and passive hoglets. Beyond the marked practice meadow, wild country can be dangerous.

Your return and ordinary death destination follow your hometown. Pioneeria’s numbered Pioneer and Oathbound badges stay exclusive to its eligible residents; earned badges stay yours.
