Higher Foraging opens different wild foods as you explore.
Berries: 1 GC each at the Smith or Kitchen, 1 GC at the general store. Explore a route between patches. Rare finds can sell well; keep healing and mana food for your journeys.

Unlocks & milestones
- Level 5 (388 total XP): pick apple trees
Apple: A crisp red apple from a wayside tree. Restores 5 health.
- Level 10 (1,154 total XP): pick mushrooms
Mushrooms: A handful of woodland mushrooms, brown and earthy. Good raw, better roasted over a fire. Restores 5 health.
- Level 15 (2,411 total XP): shake hazel bushes
Hazelnuts: Hazelnuts shaken down from a hazel, still in their frilly green cups. Restores 8 health.
- Level 20 (4,470 total XP): gather wild herbs
Wild herbs: A bunch of wild thyme, sorrel and mint. It smells like a summer meadow. Restores 10 health.
- Level 25 (7,842 total XP): pick plum trees
Plums: Dusky purple plums, soft and sweet, with a bloom you can rub off with a thumb. Restores 16 health.
- Level 30 (13,363 total XP): pick lingonberries
Lingonberries: Tart little red berries from under the pines. Up north they go with everything. Restores 18 health.
- Level 34 (20,224 total XP): pick cloudberries
Cloudberries: Amber cloudberries from the cold bogs: rare, and sweet as honey. Worth the cold feet. Restores 21 health.
- Level 37 (27,473 total XP): pick date palms
Dates: Sticky brown dates from a desert palm. A long walk in every bite. Restores 24 health.
- Level 40 (37,224 total XP): harvest wild hives
Honeycomb: A slab of wild honeycomb, dripping gold. The bees wanted it back. Shopkeepers pay well for it. Restores 22 health.
- Level 45 (61,512 total XP): pick banana plants
Bananas: A bunch of little yellow bananas from the steamy woods. Restores 30 health.
- Level 50 (101,333 total XP): pick mango trees
Mango: A ripe mango, blushing red and orange. Messy, glorious. Restores 34 health.
- Level 55 (166,636 total XP): pick starfruit trees
Starfruit: A waxy yellow starfruit. Cut it across and every slice is a little star. Restores 38 health.
- Level 60 (273,742 total XP): dig truffle patches
Truffle: A black truffle, knobbly and fragrant, dug from under an old oak. Worth a small fortune to a shopkeeper. Restores 12 health.
- Level 65 (449,428 total XP): pick glowcaps
Glowcap: A cave mushroom with a soft blue glow. It fills you up and clears your head. Restores 40 health. Restores 20 mana.
- Level 70 (737,627 total XP): pick frostcaps; find an extra forage item 5 percentage points more often
Frostcap: A pale mushroom from the frozen dark, cold as a snowball and humming with light. Food and a clear head at once. Restores 44 health. Restores 40 mana. Your existing chance to find one extra item rises by 5 percentage points. Each pick still depletes its plant and gives the same XP. Try a route through several patches while they regrow.
