How to start
Talk to the Smith, at the forge south-east of the square.
Click the Smith to talk (or right-click and choose Talk-to; on a phone, long-press), then choose “Could you make me a sword?”. “New quest”, the game says: your Journal and your Field notes keep track of it from then on.
What you need
- 2 × Copper ore and 2 × Tin ore, from the little mine north-west of the town square (copper and tin rocks: Mining 1).
- A pickaxe: the Smith lends you his old one if you have none. Use it on the rocks.
- Any smith in the land forges it: Pixlaria Town’s, Tidewell’s or a village’s.
Step by step
- The Smith could use a hand. The Smith works the forge south-east of the town square. Bring him a little ore and he makes you something for your calling: ask him about a sword of your own.
- Ore for a sword. Mine two copper ore and two tin ore at the little mine north-west of the town square (use a pickaxe on the rocks), and bring them to the Smith at the forge south-east of the square. He will make you something for your calling from them.
What you get
- Bronze sword (or Wooden shield if you have a sword already)
- 40 GC
- +400 experience
- +250 Smithing experience
On the way: Bronze pickaxe: the Smith lends you his old one if you have no pickaxe.
How it ends
The Smith made you something for your calling from ore you mined yourself.
