How to start

Talk to the Cook, in the kitchen south-west of the square.

Click the Cook to talk (or right-click and choose Talk-to; on a phone, long-press), then choose “Could you use a hand in the kitchen?”. “New quest”, the game says: your Journal and your Field notes keep track of it from then on.

What you need

• 2 × Raw meat and 3 × Logs.
• The hoglets (level 2) rooting round town carry raw meat. Chop logs from any tree with an axe (Woodcutting 1).

Step by step

1. A busy kitchen. The Cook, in Pixlaria Town's kitchen south-west of the square, feeds half the town. Ask her if she could use a hand.
2. Meat for the pot. The Cook would take a stew out to the evening fires, on the lake shore behind the smithy. Bring her two raw meat (the hoglets rooting round town carry it) and three logs from an ordinary tree (oaks need Woodcutting 15), in the kitchen south-west of the square. Logs want an axe: the Cook lends her old one to anyone without, to go back to her with the logs, and the general store sells a bronze axe for 16 GC.
3. Supper by the fires. Carry the Cook's stew pot to the evening fires, on the lake shore south-east of the square, behind the smithy, and use it on one of the two fires there: right-click the pot, choose Use, and click the fire.
