Sunscourge skirt

Obsidian silk framed in sun-gold, with an amber heart and scorpion-carved fittings. Requires Combat 95. Adds 9 armour and 6 percentage points to your damage-spell bonus, 35 maximum mana and 4 mana every 1.5 seconds between fights. Each piece works independently. Ashkar, the Sunscourge, alone drops it: a final 1 in 1,000 chance per kill for this piece. His rare rewards share one roll, never one per player. Never sold or crafted; tradeable.

At a glance

  • Maximum mana: 35
  • Mana back between fights: 4
  • Spell damage: 6%
  • Armour: 9
  • Bag: one item per slot

Worn as: legs. Requires Combat 95.

  • Mana back between fights: this much more each time your mana comes back out of a fight (every 1.5 seconds, twice as often beside a fire). Magic weapons improve mana recovery in fights and restore some mana from suitable creatures you help defeat.
  • Boosts damage spells only. Healing, mana cost and cooldowns stay unchanged. Ordinary attacks do not receive this spell bonus.
  • Armour and shields work together against physical attacks, with diminishing returns, using the same rules against creatures and players. Better armour reduces damage, but heavy blows can still hurt. Armour is a protection rating, not a fixed amount subtracted from every hit. Spells use their own protection rules.
  • Rare: never sold and never made. Found only on the hardest creatures.
