Requires Exploration 40 to captain. Travels 80% faster than your ordinary walking pace; Haste and speed equipment do not add to this. Build at Carpentry 50. Equip one boat in your Boat slot to keep it outside your bag and through Deposit all. Remove it to trade, bank or sell it. Equipped boats launch first when you walk into open water; usable boats in your bag can still launch. Step ashore to return an equipped boat to its slot, or a carried boat to your bag. On your own waterfront plot it stays moored; only you can board or pack it. A full bag also leaves it moored. Townward and Waystone return an equipped boat to its slot; other ridden boats go to your bag, or your bank when the bag is full.

Bag: one item per slot
How to get it
Pack up your own boat: stand beside it where it is moored, right-click it and choose Pack up. Build the matching boat through Build on the water; its recipe shows Carpentry and Exploration requirements. You can also obtain one by trading with another player. Stepping ashore packs it back into your bag if there is room. Launch it again from your bag at any water’s edge, and you are in it. One boat of yours rides the water at a time: build or launch another, and the one moored elsewhere is packed away in your bank.
Sell: 1 GC at the Smithy or Kitchen; 1 GC at the General store. Buying and selling prices differ.
