Veilstone requires Mining 80. Dragonspire, Cinderwake and Nightshore caves are PvE. Northreach has six veins in each of its three caves and nine veins across three surface outcrops; all are in PvP, where other players can attack you. Bring combat supplies. It appears only at these fixed sites, never in ordinary random ore generation. Gold pickaxes can mine it. Smelt two ore with two coal at Smithing 80 for a Veilsteel bar. A full vein gives four ore before resting for 198 seconds.
