Follow the settlers’ signs west around the town bank, south past the lake and across the Lark Bridge. Muggfield’s green is around (13, 286). The green stays protected and open to everyone; look beyond it for permitted land to claim.
Meet Kristoffer
Kristoffer wanders near the central campfire, occasionally sitting on a bench and taking a sip. Holding a green bottle, swaying gently and occasionally trailing a few bubbles, he says his wife kicked him out and plans to apologise when he gets home. Make yourself at home
The green has a public sawbench, bank chest, campfire, benches and a notice board. Use the sawbench to turn logs into building materials. The bank chest opens your personal bank. Read the housing guide for claims, floors, furniture and optional fence fitting.
Fruit along the meadow
Muggfield has more fruit trees among its spaced meadow-edge trees: apple trees require Foraging 5 and plum trees require Foraging 25. Paths and the central green remain open. Pick fruit as it ripens, or grow your own fruit on claimed land through Gardening.
The pond flock
Three level 3 flamingos live along the pond’s eastern bank, southwest of the green. They are peaceful until attacked and return after being defeated. Defeating one discovers it in your Creature Journal. Their normal loot rules and XP scaling match other creatures.
Two ducks paddle around the pond with small ripples. They are decorative wildlife and cannot be attacked.
A level 30 alligator rests at the opening between trees on the northern shore of the larger lake southeast of the pond, near (12, 320). It attacks nearby adventurers and occasionally swims to the opposite bank near (12, 336), then returns. Keep some distance from the shoreline.
