Gardening: from a seed to a home
Grow flowers, vegetables and fruit on your own plot. Compare all eleven plantings, their Gardening levels, seed costs and harvest rewards.
Plant your first bed
- Claim a plot using the housing system. You must own both the land and the garden bed.
- In Build, choose the Garden category and place a Garden bed on open ground on your plot. It requires Carpentry 1, two logs and one plank. It cannot sit on a floor.
- Open the bed's action menu and choose Tend. Select daisies or carrots to begin. The listed GC cost buys the seeds directly; no seed-shopping trip is needed.
- Return when the bed is ready, choose Tend, then Harvest. Leave room in your bag for the produce.
Inspect the bed to see its remaining time. Plants grow while you explore or are offline. There is no watering chore, and a ripe crop never withers.
A new planting at every milestone
Start with flowers and vegetables, then unlock a new planting every ten levels through level 90. The XP below is the actual Gardening XP per harvest at the current game rate.

Flowers to keep
You can leave ripe flowers in a bed to decorate your home for as long as you like. Harvest them when you want Gardening XP and flowers to sell. Harvesting flowers or vegetables leaves an empty bed for a new planting.
Fruit that comes back
Apple, plum and pear trees remain after harvest and grow another crop without buying a new sapling. Each bed holds one ripe harvest at a time; being away longer does not stack extra crops.
Food, flowers and room to grow
Eat harvested food to restore health, or sell spare produce at a shop. Flowers are decorative crops and sale items. You can have up to 12 planted beds across your plots. If the bag is full, the crop waits safely until you have room.
Clearing a bed requires confirmation. It removes the planting without produce, XP or a seed refund, so harvesting first is usually better. Friends and visitors cannot plant or collect from your garden. Keep your land claim: losing it stops you from tending its beds.
