Privacy & gameplay statistics
Pixlaria saves your character, inventory, progress and account information so you can return to the shared world. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Keep your password and recovery code private. Your character’s save also keeps how long you have actively played it (as below, idle time beyond a minute does not count), which decides the Pioneer badge for the first 1,000 kept characters; Pioneer numbers are public, beside your character name.
Understanding how the game is used
We collect first-party statistics to understand new-player experiences and which promotions bring returning players. These include game-opening visits, first play, guest-to-account conversion, days played and active session duration. Campaign links may include a source, medium and campaign name.
A temporary visit identifier is kept in your browser’s session storage for up to 24 hours. Server analytics use hashed character identifiers; the owner dashboard shows aggregate results. Analytics do not include chat text, passwords, recovery codes or IP addresses. These measurements are for Pixlaria’s own development, not third-party advertising profiles.
Detailed statistics are retained for 180 days. Short reconnects are combined; input-idle time beyond one minute does not add active playtime. Measurements can be incomplete when storage is blocked or a connection fails.
Access and security
The private dashboard is restricted to authorized owner accounts. Its sign-in uses a secure session cookie that expires after one hour. Moderator status does not grant access. Hosting infrastructure may keep separate operational logs for security and reliability; these are not the growth dashboard.
